Dear colleagues,
I am happy to invite you to the 1st Congress on Tooth Transplantation, which is organised 20-22 May 2016 in Sopot, a beautiful seaside resort near historic Gdansk, Poland. The aim of the congress is to present and discuss the current knowledge on autotransplantation of teeth and to establish a network for future developments in this field. The initiative to organise such a congress resulted from an increased interest for the application of tooth transplantation among dental professionals, not only in growing patients with missing teeth, but also as an alternative to dental implants in adult patients. Transplanted teeth have a unique biological potential to replace congenitally missing or traumatically lost teeth and also to preserve and regenerate alveolar process.
The congress is an excellent opportunity to unite dental professionals experienced in tooth transplantation to share their knowledge and establish guidelines for the application of this treatment modality in everyday clinical practice. Also it is a perfect option for those who are interested to expand their treatment possibilities with autotransplantation of teeth.

Our keynote speakers will discuss different aspects of tooth transplantation including long-term outcome, autotransplantation to the anterior maxilla, new protocols for transplanting developing and mature teeth, wisdom tooth transplantation, trans-alveolar transplantation and the potential for regeneration of the alveolar process.

If you are interested to discuss your research related to tooth transplantation or to show interesting clinical applications, there is the possibility to present your results during the afternoon session on Friday, 20th of May. On Sunday morning, 22nd of May, we have planned a clinical course for those, who would like to learn how to perform autotransplantation of developing teeth.

Detailed information is available at our website www.toothtransplantation.com

The venue is the Sheraton hotel, just on the beach, with the longest wooden pier in Europe. Sopot is easily accessible by air (15 km from the international airport in Gdansk), intercity train from Warsaw (intercontinental airport) and other Polish cities, or a car-ferry from Scandinavia.
We are very much looking forward to see you soonat the 1st Congress on Tooth Transplantation!
